The Jester Martini

Have you ever met someone who just absolutely cracked you up? How can some people be given the most amazing sense of humor while others are just born dull? The Jester martini is a cocktail that can make anyone laugh. This is a martini that is always a great start to an evening because you will be guaranteed that no matter what happens it will be a night of comedy.

A few weeks ago I met a man who intrigued me, upon introduction I was attracted to his physical beauty but after a brief conversation I was enthralled with his amazing sense of humor and his vast martini knowledge. A man that can make me laugh scores a lot of points in my book but a man that knows his martinis, well what can be better? I was out with friends doing martini research at a new vodka bar, when we where introduced. We connected instantly and he wanted me to try his favorite martini, the Jester. This martini is a flavorful combination of Malibu, Midori, pineapple and orange.

When I asked him “Why was this martini his favorite, He replied “because he related to it, he was sure he had been a court jester in his previous life” that explained why he was so funny. It seemed fitting that this martini was based with coconut flavor being that the man in front of me was obviously a bit nuts. Oh well I thought, I am always a girl up for some craziness. I was hesitant upon visual inspection, of the Jester because of the green layer on the bottom of the martini glass. My reluctance disappeared with my first sip, this martini was refreshingly different. Finally, a martini made with something other than vodka. I savored the sweet taste of coconut and honeydew and how it blended perfectly with the pineapple and orange. I mused at how ironic it was that I discovered this martini at a vodka bar. I stated that was rare to find a man who liked to sip a sweet martini. He replied “that this was not the only part of him that was sweet!” I giggled; it seemed that he was a flirt as well. Ummmm! This was going to be a very interesting evening!

As I sipped the Jester martini I sat back and absorbed the vibe of this new martini hot spot. Red velvet high backed booths scattered the edge of the room. A huge gold gilded mirror draped with velvet was hung behind the long candle lit bar. This venue had the feel of an old medieval castle but with all the red velvet and candles it was a room that screamed sexual energy. I made the comment that “I suspected a few people had gotten picked up in this bar,” my new friend replied “that getting picked up was not the only thing that went on in this place.” This response was just the beginning of an evening of wittiness and laughter.

One of the traits that I admire in a person is humor. The ability to make another person laugh is a great gift. Laughter can make the most upset or depressed person realize that life is not so bad. When someone is down the best cure can be something funny. I was in need of a good giggle this night because life had been far too serious for the past few days. My new hot sexy martini man was just what I needed. He was intoxicating to gaze at, with jet black hair and intense blue eyes I could feel myself being drawn into him. He had a huge presence, by being over 6ft tall with a muscular frame but it was his funny facial expressions and body language that made him magnetic. We flirted shamelessly as he made me laugh by telling me hilarious antidotes, and wittily replying to my observations of the crowd.

“The more he made me laugh the more I wanted to take him home.”

As the evening came to a close my ribs ached from all the laughing and I was completely smitten with the hot martini man and his Jester martini. It just seemed natural that this man would follow me home. It is not like I make a habit of taking home strange men, I did check him out with our mutual friend to make sure that he was not a complete psycho. So I felt ok about spending the rest of the evening with him, besides I was curious to see what this man looked like with out his clothes. Once we where home the laughter was instantly replaced by a hot and fiery passion, you can always get an indication on the potential sex based on how good the first few kisses are. The kisses where amazing and I sensed it was going to be good time! Or so I thought! It was all proceeding spectacularly until he removed his boxers. I gulped in speechless horror, and tried to laugh hysterically. There is no easy way to say this but his penis, it was so small. How could this be? This man was huge in every other way, what had happened? Then it dawned on me! He had been given everything else but a penis! It was God, who was the true Jester because he had played the hugest joke on him. The martini man saw my expression and laughed. “What you think it is too small? You just wait and see what it can do?” he said. What the hell I thought, I am always a girl up for a bit of craziness……

Conclusion:

The Jester martini is a something different, the blend of Malibu and Midori give this martini a sweetness that is nothing short of intoxicating. It is similar to a night of the uncontrollable giggles, the more you laugh the funnier everything becomes. Laughter is the greatest cure for anything that brings you down, no matter how serious or depressing life can get, if you can find the humor in life it makes it way easier to deal with. In my case, The Jester is a perfect martini because my life is just an ongoing comedy show and life is too short to miss a moment. Remember; never judge a book by its cover because sometimes the most perfect things come in small packages.
