The Super Spy Martini

How hilarious can your life be? Have you ever woken up in the morning still giggling from the night before? There are moments in your life when you spontaneously do the silliest things and then you look back in disbelief that you behaved in such a way. However, it is the memory of the craziest moments that brings a huge smile to your face. This is a martini that encourages those evenings of lucidity.

The Super Spy martini is a mixture that heightens your awareness and makes everything tingle with the super spy sense. This martini combines Espresso Vodka, Godiva Chocolate liquor, Baileys and cream. The Super Spy is a martini that is the perfect blend of dessert and an after dinner coffee, it is for when you say “screw it” and indulge. One evening my girlfriend and I decided to visit our favorite bistro/lounge for an after dinner cocktail. We had just ordered the Super Spy martini when a group of her work colleagues arrived and decided to join us. Now work and play is always very interesting, the dynamics between co-workers always carries over into a social setting. As we sipped our martinis my girlfriend filled me in on all the work gossip and we watched the situations start to unfold. There was the sales guy that was well on his way to being drunk and obnoxious. The quiet and subdued office girl who had decided to let loose by dancing topless on the bar. This of course was being encouraged by the men and discouraged by her female co-workers. Plus, there was the subtle flirting amongst the staff. This was the scene that was very entertaining to observe.

We decided to order another Super Spy martini because we had already indulged and besides there was nothing on the martini list that was going to be as satisfying. A few of the other girls had decided to try this martini as well;

“little did we know that this was going to cause some chaos.”

As the night went on it became very obvious to us that one very married woman was definitely into her young hot boss. However, what was really stirring the shit was that the sexy receptionist was making some moves on this guy. The boss, well he was sitting back and milking it for all it was worth. This guy was smooth, he was handsome and charming. It was interesting to watch how he turned the charm on and off to get exactly what he wanted from the two women. What blew my mind was that the women where falling for it. The receptionist was young so that was understandable but why was the married woman buying into his flirtation? My girlfriend was not the biggest fan of this guy and I was beginning to see that he was quite the asshole. It was when everyone started to go home that I realized my super spy instincts had kicked in.

We were sipping the last drops of our martinis when my girlfriend noticed that the married woman and her boss had slipped out the back; conveniently while the receptionist was in the restroom. We looked at each other, giggled and took off on our secret mission. We were hot on their trail, following them just a few blocks behind but close enough to see what was going on. We almost got busted when they stopped in a door way to make out but fortunately they were to busy to notice us. When they got into a taxi, our private detective instincts took over and we hopped into a cab in hot pursuit. Our driver must have thought we where crazy as we directed him not to loose the taxi in front of us at all costs. We were two girls on a secret mission and we were in hysterics! Tears were rolling down our faces. We could not believe we were spying but somehow it was hilarious and we both wanted to find out if they were having an affair. Our driver was a rock star, I felt like I was in the Italian Job as we raced and swerved to keep up with the cab in front of us. Our super spy driver held back a block as watched the couple get out of their cab and make their way into the boss’s house, groping each other the whole time. There was no doubt in our minds that they where having an affair. As we reached our home we where still giggling over the events of the evening. What we could not understand was why she would cheat on her husband with such a jerk? Our mission was complete but we both felt sad for her husband.

Conclusion:

The Super Spy is a martini that can make you laugh late into the evening. The intrigue of spying and wanting to know the answer can be exhilarating and addictive just like this martini. The combination of Espresso Vodka, Chocolate Liqueur and Baileys is so smooth that you can not resist having another. This martini will intensify your sense of intuition and can lead you into some questionable antics. It is just like the excitement of cheating with someone who is charismatic and off limits. Remember; when you indulge in the Super Spy martini ask yourself if the smoothness is worth the risk of staying up all night? When you indulge in an affair also ask yourself; is the excitement worth the risk of losing your marriage? You never know who is following you.
